Banker vs Player: a small mathematical difference, not a secret system.
Under common rules, Banker has the lower house edge. The difference is real but modest, and it does not make Banker a positive-expectation bet.
With the common 5% commission model in an eight-deck shoe, published analysis gives Banker a house edge of about 1.06% and Player about 1.24%. If the paytable or commission changes, recalculate before assuming Banker is still superior.
Why Banker wins slightly more often
The Banker hand is dealt second under a drawing table that sometimes reacts to Player’s third card. That asymmetry creates the small difference in raw win probability.
Why the casino charges commission
Without an adjustment, even-money Banker payouts would be too favourable relative to Player. A 5% commission reduces a winning Banker wager to 0.95 units of profit per unit staked. The result is still a house advantage, just a relatively small one by casino-game standards.

If you value simpler settlement, dislike commission accounting, or are playing casually with very small stakes, you may prefer Player despite the slightly higher expected cost. That is a preference decision, not a claim that Player has better odds.
