PLO pot-size calculator
Pot-limit arithmetic becomes easier when you separate the call from the raise. The maximum raise is the size of the pot after you first account for your call.
Worked example
Start with a $100 pot. An opponent bets $100. The current pot is $200. If you call $100, the pot would be $300. You may then raise by up to that $300, so your maximum total contribution on this action is $400: $100 call + $300 raise.
Interface warning
Rooms can display “pot” and “raise to” differently. This calculator therefore asks for the pot before the opponent’s current bet plus your call amount. Translate the inputs if your interface already includes outstanding bets in the displayed pot.
